I have been staring at my phone non-stop for 3 days now and nothing. I'm told that if they ring you, you've got it, if they email you, you didn't get it. Consequently, I'm also tracking my emails dreading the "Dear Candidate" one.
To keep my options open I applied for a few more jobs today - tech support, call centres etc and then found a little gem on the Apple website! You don't need a degree to apply though so I'm perhaps a tad too qualified for it. And it's in Cork of course.... Still, it's Apple and God knows that I love Apple!
Other than that, the job front isn't looking too promising. If I don't have a job by September, it's time to leave. I'd love to stay here and help rebuild the country but the fact of the matter is that if I stay here, I'll rely on the dole and be more of a hinderance than a help. What if I get comfortable on the dole and never come off it? *Shudders* Back to the jobs board I go!
