Packing & Moving

I've managed to pack the last 15 years of my life into 2 giant boxes, an oversized suitcase and a few paper bags.  It's amazing, I never realised how many hair clips, tampons or socks I had until I had to move everything!!

I bought one of those American box taper things in Ikea which was a TOTAL waste of money.  How in the name of God do you use it???  It just keeps sticking together!!!

In my packing, I've come across two things that I'm at a loss over what to do with.  The first is an And So I watch You From Afar & Adebesi Shank split EP on casette tape from their tour years ago.  The other is a beautiful wicker basket which I absolutely love.  Both of them were given to me by my ex-boyfriend who basically wants me dead. So, do I throw them out along with everything that went to charity shops during the summer or do I keep them?  The tape will be worth quite a bit in a few years and basket is my most favourite present ever.  Do I post the tape back to him? It's not mine after-all.  Both of them have shocking memories associated with them which I want to forget.  But the basket is so beautiful and would fit perfectly in my new bathroom.

Maybe I'll post the tape back and use the basket to store towels. Would that be rude?
